Stevie Ray Vaughan

Stevie Ray Vaughan was an American blues guitarist and bandleader who fronted the blues rock group Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Born in 1954, he emerged as a prominent figure in blues music during the 1980s, though his professional career lasted only seven years before his death in 1990. Despite this brief span, Vaughan became one of the most significant and influential guitarists in blues history, known for his distinctive electric style rooted in Texas blues tradition. He was the younger brother of guitarist Jimmie Vaughan.
