The Cadillacs

The Cadillacs

The Cadillacs were an American doo-wop group active from 1953 to 1962. Emerging during the golden age of vocal harmony music, the ensemble contributed to the doo-wop genre that dominated popular music in the 1950s. The group performed the style characteristic of the era, featuring close harmonies and rhythmic vocal arrangements. Though their recording career spanned less than a decade, the Cadillacs remained part of the broader doo-wop movement that influenced rhythm and blues and early rock and roll in postwar America.
