C-Murder is an American hip hop and gangsta rap artist born on March 9, 1971. He rose to prominence in the mid-1990s as a member of TRU, a supergroup under his brother Master P's No Limit Records label. As a solo artist, C-Murder achieved significant commercial success, most notably with his 1998 platinum-certified album Life or Death. Throughout his career, he has released nine albums across six different record labels, including No Limit Records, TRU Records, Koch Records, Asylum Records, RBC Records, and Venti Uno, establishing himself as a notable figure in West Coast hip hop.
