Anti-Nowhere League

Anti-Nowhere League is an English punk rock band established in 1979 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The group was founded by lead vocalist Animal, alongside guitarist Magoo, drummer Bones, and bassist Chris Elvy. Operating within the punk and rock genres, the band emerged during the formative years of the UK punk movement and became part of the broader indie rock landscape. With their origins rooted in the Kent punk scene, Anti-Nowhere League developed a distinctive sound that reflected the raw energy and rebellious spirit characteristic of late 1970s punk culture.
