Corrosion of Conformity

Corrosion of Conformity is an American heavy metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, established in 1982. The group has navigated numerous membership shifts throughout its history, with lead guitarist Woody Weatherman remaining as the only original participant. The ensemble's most celebrated configuration featured Weatherman alongside founding bassist Mike Dean, founding drummer Reed Mullin, and vocalist Pepper Keenan. Following a break in 2006, the band resumed activity in 2010 without Keenan, who was engaged with the group Down. They announced Keenan's return in late 2014. Subsequent roster adjustments saw drummer John Green join after Mullin's passing in 2020, and bassist Dean's departure in 2024.
