The Mighty Mighty Bosstones were an American ska punk ensemble from Boston, Massachusetts, established in 1983. Throughout their nearly four-decade existence, the group maintained a stable core of founding members including vocalist Dicky Barrett, bassist Joe Gittleman, tenor saxophonist Tim "Johnny Vegas" Burton, and dancer Ben Carr. Known for blending punk energy with ska rhythms and horn arrangements, the band became influential figures in the American ska scene. Their final configuration featured additional musicians across drums, saxophone, guitar, keyboards, and trombone. The band concluded their activities in January 2022.
