Lou Rawls was an American baritone singer who became one of the most commercially successful artists of his era. Born in 1933, he released 61 albums and achieved sales exceeding 40 million records throughout his career. His smooth vocal style spanned jazz, blues, soul, and gospel, establishing him as a leading figure in smooth soul and R&B. Rawls earned three Grammy Awards for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, with his signature hit "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" among his most recognized recordings. Beyond music, he worked extensively in film, television, and voice acting, while also dedicating himself to philanthropic endeavors. He remained active in the entertainment industry until his death in 2006.
