M.O.P. is an American hip-hop duo formed in 1992, consisting of rappers Billy Danze and Lil' Fame. Operating within the east coast gangsta rap scene, the group gained prominence through their aggressive style and notable collaborations with producer DJ Premier. M.O.P. is affiliated with the Gang Starr Foundation. Lil' Fame has contributed production work to the group's releases beginning with 1996's Firing Squad, also producing under the name Fizzy Womack. Beyond M.O.P., Fame has produced for other notable artists including Kool G Rap and Wu-Tang Clan. The duo remains best known for their track "Ante Up."
