Dave Mason of Traffic wrote this song for the band's self-titled 1968 album. Traffic released it as a single but it did not chart on the UK or US charts, reaching only a Bubbling Under position of 123. Joe Cocker recorded a more commercially successful version for his 1969 album, which achieved chart performance in the United States. Both versions were featured in the 2012 film Flight.
