Trilogy is the third studio album by the English progressive rock group Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in mid-1972 through Island Records. The band recorded the album in September 1971 at Advision Studios following an extensive touring period. The album includes "Hoedown," an adaptation of a ballet piece by Aaron Copland that gained popularity during live performances.
