This 1971 James Brown single was released in July through his People Records label, distributed by King Records, with part one as the A-side and parts two and three on the B-side. It represented his initial recording with a new version of The J.B.'s backing band. The song achieved significant commercial success, topping the Billboard R&B chart, reaching number fifteen on the Hot 100, and number ten on Cashbox charts. It was Brown's last release under King Records before transitioning to Polydor Records.
