"My Prayer" is a popular song from 1939 with music composed by salon violinist Georges Boulanger and lyrics by Carlos Gomez Barrera and Jimmy Kennedy. The piece originated from an earlier composition by Boulanger titled Avant de mourir, created in 1926, to which Kennedy subsequently added English lyrics in 1939.
