A show tune created by composer Jerome Kern and lyricist Otto Harbach for the 1933 musical comedy Roberta, where it was performed on Broadway by Tamara Drasin. Gertrude Niesen made the first recording on October 13, 1933, with orchestral direction from Ray Sinatra, Frank Sinatra's second cousin. RCA Victor released the recording with "Jealousy" as the B-side.
