Gabriel o Pensador is a Brazilian rapper, writer, and composer renowned for socially conscious music addressing activism, racial issues, politics, and social critique. Born Gabriel Contino, he entered the music industry after releasing a demo tape featuring the track "Tô Feliz," which secured him a recording contract with Sony Music. Throughout his career, he has released eight studio albums including Ainda É Só o Começo, Quebra-Cabeça, and Cavaleiro Andante. Beyond music, o Pensador has authored three books, with his children's work Um Garoto Chamado Rorbeto earning the prestigious Prêmio Jabuti award for best children's literature.
