Eightball & MJG is an American hip hop duo from Orange Mound, Memphis, Tennessee, who rose to prominence in the early 1990s. The pair first connected during their middle school years in 1984 before launching their professional career in 1991. Their 1993 debut album Comin' Out Hard established them within the Memphis rap scene, followed by a steady stream of releases including On the Outside Looking In, On Top of the World, and In Our Lifetime throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Known for their contributions to Memphis hip hop, the duo continued recording through the following decades with albums such as Space Age 4 Eva, Living Legends, Ridin High, and Ten Toes Down, maintaining their presence in the genre.
