Tha Dogg Pound is an American hip-hop duo from the West Coast comprising rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. Emerging in 1991, they became early signings to Death Row Records in 1992, establishing themselves as prominent figures in the gangsta rap and G-funk movements. The group's association with the legendary label helped solidify their place in West Coast hip-hop history during the genre's most influential period.
