The Country Gentlemen
The Country Gentlemen were an American bluegrass ensemble formed in 1957. Based in the United States, the group became influential pioneers in progressive bluegrass, expanding the genre's sonic and stylistic boundaries beyond traditional conventions. Over nearly five decades of activity, they maintained their position as significant contributors to bluegrass music until their dissolution in 2004.
