Far Beyond Driven is Pantera's seventh studio album, released in March 1994 through East West Records. It marks the first appearance of guitarist Darrell Abbott credited under his adopted stage name "Dimebag Darrell," a nickname change made following the previous album. Certain regional editions included bonus material, including a cover of a Poison Idea track that also appeared on a film soundtrack.
