Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. was the debut studio album by Simon & Garfunkel, released following their earlier work as a rock and roll duo. Columbia Records brought them on in late 1963. The album was recorded in March 1964 and released in October of that year. It was produced by Tom Wilson with engineering by Roy Halee, and was marketed with a subtitle emphasizing contemporary folk sounds.
