"Mrs. Robinson" is a folk rock track by Simon & Garfunkel from their 1968 album Bookends. Paul Simon composed the song, initially contributing only fragments to the 1967 film The Graduate. After the director rejected two other submissions, Simon offered the complete song for the movie. Columbia Records released it as a single in April 1968. The film's soundtrack featured two abbreviated versions, while a separate EP was issued that same year alongside other songs from the movie.
