Big Pun
Big Punisher, born Christopher Lee Rios, was an American hip-hop artist from the Bronx who became a prominent figure in East Coast gangsta rap. He rose to prominence in the mid-1990s after being discovered by fellow Bronx rapper Fat Joe, appearing on the 1995 album Jealous One's Envy alongside Cuban Link and Triple Seis. His emergence from the underground Bronx hip-hop scene established him as a significant voice in hardcore rap during the latter part of the decade.
