"Jugband Blues" appears on Pink Floyd's second album, A Saucerful of Secrets, released in 1968. The track was written by Syd Barrett and represented his only songwriting credit on the album, as well as his final composition released by the band. Despite Barrett and the band's management advocating for single release, the remaining band members and producer Norman Smith opposed this plan.
