Learning to Fly

Pink Floyd All songs A–Z

"Learning to Fly" is a progressive rock composition by Pink Floyd, created through collaboration between David Gilmour, Anthony Moore, Bob Ezrin, and Jon Carin. Released as the lead single from their thirteenth studio album A Momentary Lapse of Reason, the track achieved significant chart success in 1987. It reached number 70 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart for three consecutive weeks in autumn, while also achieving the number-one position on Spain's Los 40 Principales chart. However, it did not enter the official UK top 40 singles chart.
