The Weakerthans

The Weakerthans are a Canadian indie rock and punk band from Winnipeg, active from 1996 to 2015. Led by vocalist John K. Samson, the group established themselves as a notable fixture in the Canadian indie rock scene throughout their nearly two-decade career. Over their time together, the band released four studio albums that garnered critical attention within independent music circles. The Weakerthans disbanded in 2015 and remain inactive, leaving behind a legacy in the alternative rock landscape of Canada.
