Shaquille O'Neal, commonly known as Shaq, is an American former professional basketball player and current sports analyst. Born in 1972, the 7-foot-1-inch center played for six NBA teams across a 19-year career, becoming one of basketball's most dominant forces. O'Neal earned four NBA championships, three Finals MVP awards, and the 2000 NBA MVP title. Beyond his Hall of Fame playing career, he has pursued interests in hip hop and currently serves as an analyst on the television program Inside the NBA, remaining a prominent figure in sports media.
