Shades of Culture
Shades of Culture was a Canadian hip hop trio from Montreal, active from 1991 to 2003. Composed of members DShade, Revolution, and DJ Storm, the group performed primarily in English and became influential figures in Quebec's hip hop scene. As one of the earliest Quebec-based hip hop acts to gain recognition beyond their province, Shades of Culture helped establish Montreal as a significant hub for the genre during the 1990s.
