Queensrÿche

Queensrÿche is an American progressive metal band that formed in 1980 in Bellevue, Washington. Originally performing under the names Cross+Fire and the Mob, the group adopted their current name in 1982. The classic lineup features guitarists Michael Wilton and Chris DeGarmo, drummer Scott Rockenfield, bassist Eddie Jackson, and lead vocalist Geoff Tate, who joined in 1982. Known for blending heavy metal with progressive elements and thematic songwriting, Queensrÿche has released 16 studio albums and numerous DVDs while maintaining an active touring and recording schedule. The band's work spans topics ranging from technology and politics to human experience, establishing them as influential figures in metal music.
