The Muffs

The Muffs were an American pop punk band from Southern California, formed in 1991 and fronted by singer and guitarist Kim Shattuck. Throughout the 1990s, they released four studio albums alongside notable singles such as "Lucky Guy" and "Sad Tomorrow," along with a rendition of "Kids in America." The group entered a period of dormancy starting in 1999, though they returned with a fifth album in 2004. Following nearly a decade of inactivity, the three primary members reunited to perform together again, culminating in the 2014 release of their sixth album, Whoop Dee Doo. The band remained active until 2019.
