Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band established in Hollywood, California in 1981. Founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, the group quickly expanded to include guitarist Mick Mars and vocalist Vince Neil. The band achieved substantial commercial success, with global record sales exceeding 100 million units. Their chart performance includes nine Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, twenty-two mainstream rock hits in the Top 40, and six pop singles that reached the Top 20. Their influence on the heavy metal and glam metal genres remains significant in rock music history.
