Method Man & Redman are an American hip-hop duo featuring rappers Method Man and Redman. Both artists are signed to Def Jam Recordings for their individual and collaborative work. Though they began working together in 1994, they did not release their first joint album until 1999 with Blackout!, establishing themselves as a significant force in East Coast hip-hop. The duo followed this success with Blackout! 2 in 2009. Known for blending traditional hip-hop with influences from reggae and dancehall, Method Man & Redman have maintained a presence in rap music since their formation.
