"Atom Heart Mother" is a six-part instrumental suite created by Pink Floyd in collaboration with Ron Geesin. The composition appeared as the opening side of the band's 1970 album of the same name. At nearly twenty-four minutes long, it represents the longest continuous instrumental work in Pink Floyd's discography. The band performed the piece live during the early 1970s, sometimes featuring additional brass and vocal accompaniment.
