Alice in Chains

Alice in Chains is an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1987. The group emerged from the Pacific Northwest music scene and became closely linked with grunge, though their foundation rests primarily in heavy metal. The band is recognized for a distinctive approach to vocals, particularly the layered harmonies that characterized their earlier work. Since 2006, the band has maintained a stable lineup featuring guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell, guitarist and vocalist William DuVall, bassist Mike Inez, and drummer Sean Kinney.
