Eurythmics

Eurythmics were a British new wave duo formed in 1980 by Scottish vocalist Annie Lennox and English musician Dave Stewart, who had previously collaborated in the Tourists. Their debut album, In the Garden (1981), initially received limited commercial attention, but their second release, Sweet Dreams (1983), achieved international success. The album's title track became a major hit, topping charts in Canada and the United States while reaching number two in the UK. The group continued releasing successful singles including "Love Is a Stranger," "There Must Be an Angel," and "Here Comes the Rain Again" throughout the 1980s before disbanding in 1990.
