Mala Rodríguez

Mala Rodríguez is a Spanish Latin hip hop artist and vocalist from Barcelona. Born María Rodríguez Garrido, she has achieved significant recognition within the genre, becoming the first female artist to secure both Best Urban Album and Best Urban Song awards at the Latin Grammy Awards. She also holds the distinction of being the first urban artist to receive Spain's National Music Award. Beyond her recording career, Rodríguez served as a judge on the Spanish television program La Voz. She returned to album releases with Mala in May 2020, following a seven-year hiatus, and published her memoir, Cómo ser Mala, in June 2021.
