M.C. Ren is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Compton, California, active since 1969. Recognized for his contributions to West Coast hip hop and gangsta rap, he has established himself as both a performer and creative force within the genre. Beyond his work as an artist, M.C. Ren founded and operates Villain Entertainment, an independent record label through which he has continued to shape the hip hop landscape.
