The Andrews Sisters were an American vocal group that dominated the swing and boogie-woogie music scenes from 1937 to 1953. Comprised of three sisters—LaVerne, Maxene, and Patricia—the ensemble became renowned for their precise close harmonies and energetic performances. With an estimated 80 million records sold, they achieved remarkable commercial success during their career. Notable hits included "Bei Mir Bist Du Schön," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," and "Beer Barrel Polka." Their 1945 recording "Rum and Coca-Cola" helped introduce calypso music to American audiences. The group's versatility across swing, jump blues, and novelty songs established them as influential entertainers of the mid-twentieth century.
