Lefty Frizzell

Lefty was an American country and honky tonk musician active from 1928 to 1975. Operating primarily within the country music genre, Lefty became known for contributions to honky tonk traditions during the mid-twentieth century. His recordings and performances reflected the regional styles characteristic of country music in that era. Lefty's master recordings were among the materials lost in the 2008 Universal fire, a significant incident affecting numerous archival music collections.
