Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon is an American rock band from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, formed in 1999. The group comprises three brothers—Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill—alongside their cousin Matthew Followill. Drawing from influences across rock, alternative rock, and southern rock traditions, the band developed a distinctive sound blending garage rock revival with pop-oriented sensibilities. Their family-centered lineup and regional Tennessee roots became central to their identity within the broader American indie and alternative rock landscape.
