Jr. Walker & the All Stars

Jr. Walker & The All Stars were an American soul and funk group formed in 1958. Led by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr., professionally known as Junior Walker, the band became prominent recording artists for Motown Records throughout the 1960s. Known for their energetic performances and contributions to soul, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll, they helped define the Motown sound of the era. The group remained active until 1979. Walker later expanded his musical career, performing as a saxophonist with the rock band Foreigner during the 1980s.
