Jeff Bates
Jeff Bates is an American country music artist born in 1963. He signed with RCA Nashville in late 2002 and made his recording debut with the album Rainbow Man in May 2003. His second RCA release, Leave the Light On, arrived in 2005 and was followed by a self-titled album on independent label Black River Entertainment in 2008. Across his two RCA records, Bates achieved seven Billboard country chart entries, including three top-40 hits: "The Love Song," "I Wanna Make You Cry" (No. 23), and "Long, Slow Kisses" (No. 17).
