Diamond Life is the debut studio album by the English band Sade, released in the United Kingdom in mid-July 1984 through Epic Records and in the United States in early 1985 via Portrait Records. The band formed after Sade Adu and three members of the group Pride departed to establish themselves as a separate musical act, following Adu's background in fashion design and modeling work.
