Homer & Jethro were an American country music duo comprising Henry D. "Homer" Haynes and Kenneth C. "Jethro" Burns. Active from 1936 to 1971, they gained prominence during the 1940s through 1960s as radio and television performers renowned for their comedic, satirical interpretations of popular songs. Dubbed "the Thinking Man's Hillbillies," the pair earned critical recognition including a Grammy Award in 1959 and induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
