"Anyday" was composed by Eric Clapton and Bobby Whitlock for the Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, released in 1970. The song originated during a creative session at Clapton's residence where both musicians experimented with different guitar tunings, ultimately selecting Open D. Subsequently, both Clapton and Whitlock recorded their own interpretations of the composition, releasing these versions across studio and live albums during 2003 and 2016.
