Deee-Lite was an American house and dance music group based in New York City, active from 1986 to 1996. The ensemble achieved international prominence with their 1990 debut album World Clique, which featured the single "Groove Is in the Heart"—a top-ten hit across numerous countries. The track became one of their defining works and helped establish their signature dance-pop sound.
