Cham is a Jamaican dancehall artist who rose to prominence following the 2006 release of "Ghetto Story," the lead single from his major label debut album of the same name. The track's success inspired numerous similar compositions from other artists and established him as a significant figure in dancehall music. Originally performing under the moniker Baby Cham until 2005, he continues to be recognized by that earlier name among his global fanbase. Currently signed to Atlantic Records, Cham works across dancehall, hip hop, and electronic music genres.
