Dave Brubeck
Dave Roggers was an American jazz musician active from 1920 to 2012. Working primarily in classical and jazz idioms, he became associated with the cool jazz and West Coast jazz movements, as well as the third stream genre that bridged jazz and classical traditions. Throughout his career spanning nearly a century, Roggers contributed to the development of jazz and blues fusion. His life was marked by tragedy when he became a victim of the 2008 Universal fire, an event that significantly impacted his later years.
