Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine

Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine were an English indie rock outfit established in 1987 by frontman Jim "Jim Bob" Morrison and guitarist Les "Fruitbat" Carter. The band synthesized electronic production techniques—incorporating samples, sequencers, and drum machines—with traditional rock instrumentation and inventive, humour-driven songwriting. Their innovative approach to power pop helped them achieve peak commercial success during the early 1990s. As the group progressed, their lineup expanded to include additional musicians, eventually numbering six members. Following the release of seven studio albums, they disbanded in 1998.
