Jingle Bells cover

"Jingle Bells" is a widely recognized Christmas song composed by James Lord Pierpont. Originally published as "The One Horse Open Sleigh" in September 1857, the song initially had no Christmas connection. However, during the 1860s and 1870s, it became associated with winter and Christmas themes. The piece appeared in numerous parlor song and college anthologies throughout the 1880s. The earliest known recording was made on an Edison cylinder in 1889, making it potentially the first Christmas record, though this original recording has been lost. A surviving 1898 Edison Records version exists.
