Beverley Knight is a British soul singer, songwriter, actress and radio personality who emerged in the mid-1990s. She released her debut album, The B-Funk, in 1995, establishing herself as a major force in British soul music. Drawing inspiration from legendary American soul artists such as Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, Knight has recorded nine studio albums throughout her career. She is widely recognized as one of Britain's most significant soul vocalists, with notable success including chart-performing singles such as "Greatest Day," "Get Up!," "Shoulda Woulda Coulda," "Come as You Are," and "Keep This Fire Burning."
