Gerry and the Pacemakers

Gerry and the Pacemakers were an English beat group that emerged from Liverpool during the 1960s Merseybeat era. Like their contemporaries the Beatles, the band was managed by Brian Epstein and recorded under producer George Martin. Their early hits played a significant role in popularizing the Merseybeat sound, contributing to the broader British beat movement that dominated the mid-1960s. The group became one of the defining acts of their generation's rock and pop landscape.
